{"id":860,"date":"2022-02-28T16:46:07","date_gmt":"2022-02-28T14:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eviso.ai\/?page_id=860"},"modified":"2026-08-13T14:55:46","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T12:55:46","slug":"ai-company","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eviso.ai\/en\/ai-company\/","title":{"rendered":"AI Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>eVISO is a digital company that uses its proprietary <strong>Artificial Intelligence platform<\/strong> to create <strong>value<\/strong> for <strong>recurring commodity users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Electricity<\/strong> is the commodity to which <strong>we first applied our technology<\/strong> in 2013 thanks to the pervasive presence of <strong>digital meters<\/strong>, installed by law in more than 36 million homes and businesses in Italy, which created a considerable amount of data.<\/p>\n<p>With an approach inspired by platform-based business models, such as Amazon and Google, in 2019 we started selling our AI services not only to direct customers, but also to other players in the electricity sector.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its scalable business model, in April 2026 <strong>eVISO Luz y Gas S.A.<\/strong> was established in Spain, the first step in the company&#8217;s internationalization strategy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid my-4\" src=\"https:\/\/eviso.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/company.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Artificial Intelligence in the commodities sector<\/h2>\n<p>The context in which we operate includes players who buy, sell and deliver products, with varying degrees of digitisation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these operations, the proprietary platform also performs a number of non-human activities, which we call <em>Artificial Intelligence Magic<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction<\/strong>: the industrial production of predictions about prices, volumes, human behaviour and more. Benefits: cuts costs, mitigates risks, speeds up response times.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Execution<\/strong>: the automated and autonomous industrial execution of millions of digital transactions (thousands of alerts per day, suggested based on user behaviour). Advantages: cuts costs, increases perceived quality and adapts quickly to new contexts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Driven Pricing<\/strong>: the ability to monetise the value created by the previous two activities by mass customisation of prices. Benefits: increases profits by positioning our offers in the most appropriate price window.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>New markets<\/h2>\n<p>The activities carried out by our digital engine are quickly <strong>adaptable to different commodities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, we entered the fruit sector by launching <a href=\"https:\/\/smartmele.eviso.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>SmartMele<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, the first digital marketplace where fruit producers and traders can trade apple containers with a 3, 6, 12-month delivery.<\/p>\n<h2>Numbers<\/h2>\n<p>Since 30 December 2020, eVISO has been listed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.borsaitaliana.it\/azioni\/mercati\/euronext-growth-milan\/home\/caratteristiche.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Euronext Growth Milan<\/strong><\/em><\/a> segment of Borsa Italiana S.p.A.<br \/>\nFor more information on <strong>official results<\/strong> and <strong>corporate presentations<\/strong>, please visit the <em><strong>Investor Relations<\/strong><\/em> section.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn-special\" href=\"https:\/\/eviso.ai\/en\/investor-relations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Go to Investor Relations<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Awards<\/h2>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">In 2026, <strong>TIME and Statista<\/strong> included eVISO in the first edition of the <strong>World&#8217;s Growth Leaders 2026<\/strong> global ranking. eVISO ranks #307 out of 1,000 publicly listed companies worldwide, the top Italian company in the IT, Electronics, Hardware &amp; Equipment category.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">In 2025, for the sixth edition of the Industria Felix Award \u2013 L&#8217;Italia che compete, eVISO received the <strong>High Financial Honor<\/strong> (Alta Onorificenza di Bilancio).
