eVISO: an energy supply agreement signed with Consorzio Imperia Energia for a plafond of 52 GWh, equivalent to an estimated turnover of about € 12 million

This agreement constitutes a growth factor in the direct customer segment

Saluzzo (CN), 5 december 2023 eVISO S.p.A. (simbolo: EVISO) – COMMOD-TECH company, listed on the EGM, with a proprietary artificial intelligence infrastructure that operates in the raw materials sector (electricity, gas, apples) – announces that it has signed a contract with Consorzio Imperia Energia, established in July 2000, on the initiative of Confindustria Imperia and the major associated companies, for the supply of energy and related services, for a ceiling of 52 GWh, equivalent to an estimated turnover of at around €12 million.

The contract signed by Consorzio Imperia Energia on behalf of the 34 associated industrial companies represents the largest contract signed by eVISO in the segment of direct customers belonging to industrial realities, which represent an extremely competitive market. The result achieved confirms, in particular, the attractiveness of the eVISO offer, based on the proprietary digital infrastructure, which automates the value chain from producer to consumer.

The contract has particular significance in economic terms as, if compared to the volumes supplied to direct customers in the financial year ended 30 June 2023, equal to 213 GWh, the 52 GWh envisaged by the agreement represent approximately 25% of the amount total. Furthermore, in October 2023 the direct consumption points combined with eVISO were equal to 310 GWh and of the latter the volume of medium voltage consumption points was equal to only 14 GWh (4.5% of the total). The 52 GWh agreement announced today therefore represents a 4-fold increase in volumes supplied to industrial customers in a new geographical area.

From a strategic point of view, in fact, the agreement has allowed eVISO to expand its offer outside Piedmont, the traditional area of operation.

Lucia Fracassi, General Manager of eVISO, ha commented: “The agreement is the result of eight months of work and preparation of a complex offer based on the provision of sophisticated electricity supply services, pioneers on the industrial market, which convinced the counterparty’s technicians and engineers. Thanks to this agreement and the consequent expansion of the geographical business area, eVISO will be able to offer its services to the most important companies in Imperia, associated with Consorzio Imperia Energia, which are very careful in choosing the supplier”.

Fabio Piletto, Area Manager Liguria of eVISO, added: “Becoming suppliers of Consorzio Imperia Energia represents an important milestone for eVISO. Once again, our technology and our skills have allowed us to demonstrate how successful our business model is. The success of this agreement is also the result of the constant and collective commitment that has involved many of the company’s collaborators, as well as representing a great personal satisfaction as I am originally from Imperia and I still have a very strong emotional relationship with this city”.
