24,000 files processed in the electricity market in October, +700% compared to November 2021 - New "switch out" notification functionality added to monitor the supplier-switching trend
Saluzzo (CN), 3 November 2022 – eVISO S.p.A. (EVS.MI) – a digital company, listed on the EGM, with a proprietary artificial intelligence infrastructure that creates value for consumers and recurring producers of raw materials – announces that the Cortex-owned digital platform achieved, in the month of October alone, the handling of about 24,000 files, +700% compared to the month of October 2021 when there were approximately 3,000 transactions.
Cortex is eVISO’s proprietary digital data platform that allows Resellers operators to manage the technical and legal conditions of each individual supply point in real time, either with machine-to-machine (API) access or via the web. Specifically, the platform allows operators to reduce the file processing time thanks to the introduction of a self-service mode accessible 24/7.
The collected data show how Cortex has significantly expanded the business since it went live on 24 May 2021 (Link). Since then, Cortex has processed a total of 82,000 files, of which almost 24,000 in October 2022 alone.
This acceleration is due to enhanced efficiency of the platform that includes activations, increases in power, switchovers, master data changes on PODs in supply with Resellers, and the inclusion since September of the new “switch out” notification service (customers changing supplier): a new feature that allows to understand and monitor the issue in a precise and timely manner, at a time in the market when the wide fluctuations in energy prices make it particularly relevant. Of the total of 82,000 files, about 20,000 relate to “switch out” processes.
It should be noted that in the fiscal year ending 30.06.2022, the number of files subject to billing to resellers amounted to 24,000, with a total turnover of €2 million and an average unit turnover of 82 euros/file. As of October 2022, of the total number of files processed by CORTEX (24,000), those subject to invoicing were 4,400, with an estimated turnover on a like-for-like average ticket of over EUR 360,00, up by about 120% compared to the monthly average of the previous year.
