SMARTMELE FRUITS TRADING L.L.C., 100% OWNED BY EVISO, CONFIRMS THE COMPANY'S INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION STRATEGY

Saluzzo (CN), 3 March 2025 – eVISO S.p.A. (simbolo: EVISO) – COMMOD-TECH company, listed on the EGM, with a proprietary artificial intelligence infrastructure that operates in the raw materials sector (electricity, gas, apples) – announces the incorporation of the company Smartmele Fruits Trading L.L.C., 100% owned by eVISO with registered office in Dubai. The operation is part of the partnership agreements signed with Seed Group, private office of Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Maktoum (see press release of October 14, 2024).
SMARTMELE is an international platform for the exchange of apple containers with physical delivery in the short, medium and long term (forward). The SMARTMELE exchange platform was launched in 2021, leveraging eVISO’s sophisticated proprietary techniques in the predictive artificial intelligence segment. To date, SMARTMELE continues to be the only platform to publish apple price forecasts for the upcoming harvest seasons.
The new company Smartmele Fruits Trading L.L.C., 100% owned by eVISO, will be engaged in the import and export of fruit, as well as the development of innovative technologies in the sector, with activities that will also expand to other member countries of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council).
The global fresh apple market is expected to reach $100 billion in 2024[1], marking significant growth. In this context, Smartmele Fruits Trading L.L.C. was created to significantly strengthen the trade of fruit containers in Dubai, the Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman etc.) and the promising markets of Africa, contributing to the growth of the sector internationally.
At the administrative level, Smartmele Fruits Trading L.L.C. was established with a share capital of 200,000 UAE Dirhams (approximately €53,000), fully subscribed by eVISO and the offices are in Dubai Marina, Dubai UAE, Al Khayay Street, Jumeirah Living Marina Gate 3, Mezzanine Floor (R311-15). Gianfranco Sorasio is the Sole Director.
The SMARTMELE project team is composed of Davide Ferrero, Deputy Manager, Simone Bernardi, who has been leading the project since December 2022 and has long experience in the reference supply chain and Maurizio Liverani, senior entrepreneur with many years of experience in technological development.
